Families who are planning a pregnancy, currently pregnant, or parenting a new baby can receive free home visiting services and resources to support healthy child development and family  bonding.

Welcoming Babies, connecting families

Winning Start Winnebago is a community-wide initiative to give every baby in Winnebago County a Winning Start. With free universal home visiting services and seamless connection to resources to support families during pregnancy, after birth, and to keep growing. 

Through Winning Start Winnebago, families can access services including:

Doula services

Universal public health nurse home visits

Child development guidance

Nutritional guidance

Family Bonding

Connection to other community services

The Community Advisory Board (CAB) contributes to the success of the program by developing and reviewing program metrics and outcomes, providing feedback on strategies and community engagement, and being enthusiastic ambassadors and connectors for WSW.
